For the past 44 years, Jackie has designed and implemented human services programs for children and families in Los Angeles. As Founder and Director of The Children’s Collective, Inc., a non-profit corporation, she manages 15 program locations and a staff of 125. In The Links, Incorporated, Jackie served for nine years as International Trends and Services Chair. She engaged Inglewood Pacific Chapter and other community organizations in the effort to reduce violence against women and girls in Sudan, and to advocate for an end to the genocidal war in Sudan. For this work, her Chapter won numerous Area and National program awards. Jackie is the immediate past Western Area Chair of International Trends & Services. Jackie received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (with a minor in German) from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles. She also completed the Executive Program in Management at the Anderson Graduate School of Management, University of California at Los Angeles.
The 44th WA Conference will convene June 4–9 in the beautiful city of Austin, TX – ‘Live Music Capital of the World,’ where we will celebrate the theme ‘Anchored in Friendship, Service, and Community Impact’. The Western Area Executive Team and the Central Texas Cluster are delighted to share the Call to conference with all members within our 10 state Area to come assemble for the purpose of handling the business of the Western Area and to reignite the bond of friendship that binds us together.
