Links Day At The Capitol-Texas

The 46th annual Texas African American Legislative Summit is Feb. 24-26. Themed "The Fierce Urgency of Now: State of Black Lives in Texas," the Caucus will work to ensure that our young Black boys are no longer lost to an unjust system. Time and place of legislative meeting for WA members will be announced. Western Area Group Photo is scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday on the SOUTH steps of the Capitol. Please assemble on the steps at 1:45 pm. We have invited Members of the House of Representatives and Senate, the Speaker, and Lieutenant Governor to join the photo session if their schedules permit.
Legislative meeting for Western Area members will be held Tuesday, Feb. 26. Time and place will be announced. Ten (10) service hours will be awarded.
