The Legislative Issues and Public Affairs Committee works to address Critical Societal issues that confront and challenge African American individuals, families and communities across Western Area.

The committee has committed to specific goals during this biennium which includes the following:
(1) Ensure Voter Programs are fully indoctrinated in each chapter's program
(2) Information Sharing and Engagement with local governments in our respective states
(3) Support the overall goals and objective of the National Legislative Issues and Public Affairs Committee
